Two men who appeared in court charged with planning and travelling to Syria to engage in terrorism have been remanded in custody until January 31.
Yusuf Sawar and Mohammed Ahmed, from Handsworth in Birmingham, were arrested at Heathrow Airport on Monday after arriving back in the UK on a flight from Turkey.
