Greater Manchester Police have been granted more time to question three people arrested following the death of a seven-week-old baby in Oldham.
A 23-year-old woman, a 26-year-old man and 35-year-old man are being held on suspicion of murder and conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed today that the force had been given an additional 30 hours to question the trio.
Their status will be reviewed later tonight.
There are not expected to be any development in the investigation today.
