High winds leave 14,000 homes without power in SW

Around 14,000 homes are without power this evening as Western Power confirm they have seen power outages due to the weather.

Western Power say the cuts are in South-West England from Somerset to Penzance.

They have people working to repair the damage but the problem is likely to continue through the night.
