The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted a resolution to boost humanitarian aid access in Syria

Russia and China, who previously vetoed three resolutions condemning Syria's government and threatening it with possible, both voted in favor of the resolution.

UN Security Council approves resolution on Syria aid access

The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted a resolution to boost humanitarian aid access in Syria. The US Ambassador to the UN called for "no more broken promises, delays or false concessions".
