Tory peer killed in helicopter crash had raised safety concerns

A Tory peer who was among four people killed in a helicopter crash in Norfolk had previously raised safety concerns with the aircraft's manufacturers. AgustaWestland said they were investigating but that "there could be many causes" behind the crash.

Police: We're not speculating on flight path at this time

"At this time we're not going to be speculating on the flight path at this time, obviously that forms part of our detailed forensic investigation into the nature of the flight," Inspector Louis Provart told reporters tonight.

Norfolk police are "keeping an open mind" about the cause of the crash, he said.
