The search for the missing Malaysian Airlines plane has again been widened due to new information with authorities looking in both the Indian Ocean and South China Sea, Malaysia's transport minister said.
He added that reports claiming engine data showed the plane flew for hours after losing contact were untrue and that engine manufacturer's Rolls Royce "concurred" with his statement.
Hishammuddin Hussein also said there were currently 57 ships and 48 aircrafts searching for the missing flight.
