Violent clashes in Ukraine leave 'at least three dead'

A young man was stabbed to death after rival Ukrainian demonstrators clashed in the mainly Russian-speaking eastern city of Donetsk, medical officials said. The interior ministry also confirmed the deaths of two people in Kharkiv.

Pussy Riot take part in anti-war rally in Moscow

Russian punk band Pussy Riot members Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova attended an anti-war rally in Moscow, ahead of a referendum on Crimea.

The pair were detained on suspicion of theft at Sochi last month but were subsequently released.
