All FA Cup, Premier League, Football League and Football Conference matches on the weekend of April 11-14 will kick-off seven minutes later than originally scheduled in tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough stadium disaster.

Ninety-six fans died during the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest on April 15 1989 which was ended six minutes after kick-off at 3:06 pm.

The Football Association said the tribute was a "mark of respect and remembrance for those who lost their lives", and confirmed that all matches will observe the same etiquette.

Earlier this year, Liverpool captain, who lost his cousin in the tragedy, donated £96,000 to the Hillsborough Family Support Group.
