The mother of deported A-level student Yashika Bageerathi said she was worried for her daughter, as she was alone in Mauritius, the country the family fled in 2011.
Yashika arrived in the country alone early this morning. She has spoken to her mother on Skype.
Speaking to ITV News Yashika Bageerathi said she was all alone and did not know what she was going to do without her family and friends.
Speaking to her mother as she boarded she said she was scared about landing in the country she fled in 2011.
Speaking to ITV News Yashika Bageerathi appealed directly to the Immigration Minister and the Home Secretary to remain in the UK.
