'Poker history' nets Victoria Coren Mitchell £400K prize

Victoria Coren's second European Poker Tour win has netted the TV personality and journalist nearly £400,000, as well as making poker history.

Coren Mitchell became the first ever two-time winner of the European Poker Tour by winning the latest season of tournament in Sanremo, Italy.

She beat off 556 competitors to win a cash prize of £391,000 (476,100 euros) and a watch worth more than £4,000.

Coren Mitchell became the first woman to win an EPT event in London in 2006 for £500,000 prize money.
