Danny Boyle 'in talks' to direct Steve Jobs movie

Oscar-winning filmmaker Danny Boyle is in talks with Sony Pictures to direct a movie about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, with Leonardo DiCaprio tipped to star in the title role.

The pair could reunite, according to The Hollywood Reporter, after working together in 2000 on The Beach.

The movie is the second about the late Apple co-founder, who died in 2011 at the age of 56 after suffering from pancreatic cancer.
