Today's air search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has been suspended for the day due to poor weather conditions.
Three aircraft had already departed to the search area but were recalled as heavy seas and poor visibility made activities "ineffective and potentially hazardous", the Australian government's Joint Agency Coordination Centre said.
The 12 ships involved in today's search will continue their planned activities, the agency added.
