An Afghan official has said the helicopter carrying soldiers from the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) had crashed due to technical problems.
Five service personnel were killed when the UK helicopter they were travelling in crashed in southern Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said.
