The MP for the neighbouring constituency to the Leeds Corpus Christi Catholic College said a teacher being stabbed to death is "horrendous” for all those involved.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested today after a woman teacher was stabbed to death at a college in Leeds.
The Central Leeds MP for Labour Hilary Benn, who has constituents who have children at the school said "our hearts go out, above all, to the family of the teacher. But also to the staff and pupils of the school."
Although a shocking attack, this is a rare attack. There are few other occasions when a teacher was stabbed inside their school by a pupil.
A 15-year-old schoolboy is in police custody tonight, suspected of stabbing to death his teacher.
