The family of Ann Maguire, the teacher fatally stabbed at a Leeds school, were in court today as a 15-year-old boy was remanded in custody charged with her murder.
Donald Maguire stood at the back of a packed Leeds Youth Court as the boy, who had a cast on his right wrist, appeared before magistrates during a two-minute hearing.

Observers had feared the election would be marred by vote rigging.
