'At least 12 dead' following Nigeria blast

Police in Nigeria say at least 12 people have died after a suspected car bomb in the capital Abuja.

The explosion happened in the suburb of Nyanya, near the site of another blast in April which killed around 70 people.

'19 dead' in Nigeria blast

A blast on the outskirts of Nigeria's capital Abuja has killed 19 people, the Nigerian government says. The explosion hit the satellite town of Nyanya, near the site of a bus station attack that killed at least 71 people in April.
