Hague: 'Russia must reduce tensions'

Foreign Secretary William Hague has joined calls for Moscow to use its influence to urge separatists in eastern Ukraine to lay down their arms and take steps to reduce tensions.

William Hague said he was "extremely concerned" by reports that pro-Russian groups had shot down Ukrainian military helicopters, taken hostages and intimidated journalists.
