Two teenage girls arrested on suspicion of plotting to murder a teacher at a Welsh school have been released on bail.
Officers were called to Cwmcarn High School on Thursday after concerns were raised about the behaviour of the two pupils.
Gwent Police confirmed the 15-year-old from Newbridge and 14-year-old from Risca had been released on bail pending further inquiries.
A statement from the force confirmed: "Nobody was harmed as a result of the incident, and the matter was resolved peacefully."
