Russia adds new ships to Crimea-based Black Sea fleet

Russia plans to add new submarines and warships to its Black Sea fleet, part of which is based in Crimea, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu was quoted as saying today.

"New submarines will join the Black Sea fleet, as well as new-generation surface ships, this year. All this requires much attention from us," Interfax news agency quoted Shoigu as saying.
