Veteran broadcaster Stuart Hall took his first alleged victim to the BBC Studios in Manchester on the pretext of showing her how to be a makeup artist, a court heard.
Once there, she was plied with alcohol in Hall's personal dressing room in the Oxford Road complex, and assaulted, the jury heard.
"We say he realised she was not consenting. It was obvious," Peter Wright QC, prosecuting, told the jury. "Yet he pressed on and had sex with her regardless."
