A bank hold-up today in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, is just under 70 miles away from the Isle of Sheppey, where a violent robber dubbed the 'Skull Cracker' escaped from an open prison.
Police officers are investigating whether the 'Skull Cracker' was responsible for the robbery in Surrey this morning.
