- The Citizen's Advice Bureau found complaints about energy supplier Npower soared by 300% to over 300 for every 100,000 customers from January 2012 to December 2013.
- Npower, which has 5.9 million UK customers, has been at the bottom of the energy complaints league table since the end of 2012.
- Among the top gripes were bills arriving late, payments being stopped and new accounts not being set up.
