Harris daughter 'yards away' during alleged attack

A witness who claims she was molested by Rolf Harris has told court the entertainer assaulted her on a holiday while his daughter stood nearby.

Asked why her diary entry from the day of the alleged incident showed no indication that anything was wrong, the witness said: "Why would I want anyone to see if I had an awful time?".

ITV News Correspondent Richard Pallot reports from Southwark Crown Court, with 'W1' indicating the witness:

W1 said RH put a towel around her after swimming, and touched her under the towel. Bindi was just yards away and apparently saw nothing.

Defence then questioning how her best friend couldn't see it despite being so close. W1 says she didn't want to show anyone her emotions

The woman is named on seven of the 12 counts of indecent assault that veteran entertainer Harris faces, all of which he denies.
