Graves have been dug for the victims of a mine explosion in a coal mine in western Turkey, according to CNN.
Authorities said 232 people have died as a result of an explosion in the Soma mine which is 2km underground, while 80 wounded miners have been rescued.
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan estimated that 787 miners were trapped when the explosion took place almost 24 hours ago, and has said the incident is likely to be the country's worst mining disaster
