Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has said that there will be no prisoner swap with Boko Haram in exchange for the schoolgirls kidnapped by the militant group, the Britain's Africa Minister Mark Simmonds MP is reported by Reuters to have said.
"He made it very clear that there would be no negotiations with Boko Haram that involved a swap of abducted schoolgirls for prisoners," Mr Simmonds told a news conference.
The Nigerian military has flown more than 300 sorties in the hunt for the abducted schoolgirls, a Major has told ITV News' Rageh Omaar.
