Hague: Nigeria 'ill equipped to battle Boko Haram'

William Hague has said "Nigerian security forces have not been well structured" to deal with the threat posed by Islamist militants Boko Haram.

Speaking ahead of a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan and other African politicians in Paris, Mr Hague said he would be seeking to ensure co-operation with surrounding nations in attempts to return more than 200 missing schoolgirls kidnapped by the organisation.
