Four British yachtsmen, whose vessel capsized in the mid-Atlantic Ocean are unlikely to be found, US Coast Guard Rob Simpson told ITV News, after they called off the search today.
Mr Simpson said: "We've searched nearly over 4,000 square miles, in a very concentrated area for them and over the amount of time and the amount of assets we were able to have on scene, we believe we would have found them. That means we have suspended the search".
With no sign of a life raft or of debris, and with nearly 20,000 square miles having been searched, the hunt continues for another day.
Veteran yachtsman Tony Bullimore tells ITV News that there is a "strong possibility" the yachtsmen are still alive in the life raft.
