Suspected militants have killed 26 people in overnight attacks in northeastern Nigeria, police said only hours after a blast killed 118 people in the central city of Jos.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks. The Islamist militant group Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for similar attacks in the past.
Violence in the religiously-mixed Nigeria has surged in the past two months.
