Report: 31 dead in China market explosions

Thirty one people have been killed in the explosive attack in the capital of China's Xinjiang region, state news agency Xinhua News reports.

Social media users have been used Weibo to post images from the scene. There has been no official death toll or confirmation from the Chinese authorities.

Explosive attack in market in northwestern China

Attackers crashed a pair of vehicles and tossed explosives in an attack near an open air market in the capital of China's volatile northwestern region of Xinjiang province, leaving 31 people dead and at least 94 injured.
