Labour takes control of Hammersmith and Fulham

Labour made a major gain in the local elections in London, taking Hammersmith and Fulham from the Conservatives. The borough has been under Conservative control since 2002.

11 conservative seats went to Labour, leaving the council with 26 Labour seats and 20 conservative.
