The new president of Egypt has called on the country to "differ for the sake of our nation and not over it", during his acceptance speech at the Supreme court in Cairo.
Al-Sisi also thanked the outgoing interim president, before both men signed the "handover of power document" in the presence of dozens of local and foreign dignitaries.
