New Egypt president calls terrorism fight 'top priority'

Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the new president of Egypt, said in his first speech to the nation that he will focus on fighting terrorism in the "coming phase".

"Defeating terrorism and achieving security is the top priority in our coming phase," Sisi said, just hours after being sworn in, referring to his Islamist opponents.
