Five schools declared failing over 'Trojan takeover'

Five Birmingham schools have been declared failing and put into special measures by Ofsted following inspections over the alleged "Trojan Horse" takeover plot by hard-line Muslims

Ofsted found evidence that some governors have exerted "inappropriate influence" over the running of several Birmingham schools, chief inspector Sir Michael Wilshaw said.
