Passport delay putting 'immense stress' on family

The backlog in passport renewals is putting "immense stress" on one family desperately waiting for their 10-year-old daughter's travel documents to arrive, according to one father.

Jason Hutchings told Good Morning Britain he began renewing his daughter's passport on May 20 - well within the three week time limit for the family holiday, due to begin on Tuesday next week.

However, Jason said the passport has still not arrived, despite trying to pay the extra £50-60 for a premium upgrade.
