Staff start their 24-hour strike at Rio's Galeao airport

Workers have begun their 24-hour attempted strike at Rio de Janeiro's two airports today, on the eve of the opening of the 2014 Fifa World Cup.

Workers held a strike banner at the Galeao airport in the early hours, according to a protest group on Facebook.
