Actor Sam Kelly, who starred in hit sitcoms Porridge and 'Allo 'Allo has died aged 70, his agent has announced.
Linda Ronan said Mr Kelly had died peacefully having "bravely fought" a long-term illness.
He famously portrayed Bunny Warren in Porridge, starring opposite Ronnie Barker, while in 'Allo 'Allo he played German captain Hans Geering in 'Allo 'Allo, a comedy set in Nazi-occupied France.
Ronan said Kelly "does not leave any family but a host of friends who were his chosen family", the BBC reports.
