A British man has died in Barbados after being stabbed in the chest early on Sunday morning, Barbados Today reported.
The man, who has not been named, was reportedly involved in an altercation with a local man in in St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, in the southwest of the country.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, where he died from his injuries, police officers told the newspaper.
A spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: "We are aware of the death of a British national in Barbados on June 15.
"We are providing consular assistance to the family at this sad time."
