Gazprom warns Europe about 'risks for gas transit to EU'

The head of Russian state-controlled energy company Gazprom warned the European Union there was "not insignificant" risk for Russian gas transit to the EU.

Ukraine's energy minister said Russia had cut off all gas supplies to Kiev this morning. Ukraine had until Monday morning to pay off a £1.1 billion gas debt or have their supplies cut off.

Ukraine's president extends truce for the east
