A spokesman for the Iraqi prime minister has said ISIS fighters will return to western countries "radicalised and militarised," after fighting in northern Iraq.
Zuhair al-Nahar, a spokesman for the Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki, told the BBC:
"It will also be a huge security threat to the West, because many of these terrorists have come from the West and will return radicalised and militarised and will pose a huge security threat.
"They are a force that needs to be tackled by the world and it needs to be done now."
The Foreign Secretary has been clear on the threat of Isis, but he has ruled out the prospect of any UK military involvement in the crisis.
Iraq’s foreign minister, Hoshyar Zebari, is a natural diplomat. Polite, immaculately dressed, and blessed with a great memory.
Isis has paraded military equipment in Mosul it captured from when the Iraqi army fled in what some see as a "nightmare scenario."
