PM announces extra £2m to help Iraq refugees

David Cameron has announced an extra £2m in British aid to help those displaced by the situation in Iraq, where Islamist militants have taken over several cities and forced hundreds of thousands to flee their homes.

It comes on top of £3m already pledged by the Government to help the refugees.

Islamic State leader calls for jihad in audio message

The leader of the Islamic State, formerly Isis, has released the first audiotape calling for jihad since the group renamed. The group is currently battling Iraqi forces across large parts of the country.
