Journalist rejects MP's 'apology' for punch-threat tweet

Yasmin Alibhai-Brown said she did not accept the "apology" issued by Tory MP Mike Fabricant, after he tweeted about punching her in the throat.

Tory MP apologises for throat-punch tweet 'threat'

Tory MP Michael Fabricant has apologised after appearing to threaten to physically assault a female journalist. "I would either end up with a brain haemorrhage or by punching her in the throat," he tweeted.
