A huge fire that destroyed a $24 million (£14m) luxury yacht whilst it was in a boat yard was filmed by a passing drone camera and posted online.
The yacht, named 'Polar Bear' was owned by retired electrical engineer Larry Jodsass, 79, told NBC San Diego that he cried when he saw the video online.
Mr Jodsass said the yacht took him five years to build and has been in the water for three years. The yacht was dry docked in Chula Vista, California, after a winter journey to Costa Rica.
He said that his yacht was his haven, which he enjoyed to the fullest.
“Do I love that boat? It’s a helluva boat, I just think it was wonderful, I enjoyed it tremendously and I think it was worth the money that I put into it,” he lamented.
