A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a festival-goer in a row over an inflatable doll.
Robert Hart, 26, was punched to the ground at the Parklife music event in Heaton Park, Manchester, last Saturday after an altercation triggered by an inflatable doll striking his girlfriend, Gemma.
The pair were at the front of the festival's main stage when the incident took place at about 9.15pm.
Avid Manchester City fan Mr Hart, from Macclesfield, Cheshire, was knocked unconscious and later died in hospital.
Police said the suspect was arrested in Cheshire today and is being questioned in custody.
