Al-Jazeera journalists sentenced to 7 years in prison

An Egyptian court has sentenced three Al-Jazeera journalists; Mohamed Fahmy, Baher Mohamed and Peter Greste, to 7 years in prison each.

Minute's silence held for jailed Al-Jazeera journalists

A minute's silence was held in protest at the sentence of three Al-Jazeera journalists who were each jailed in Cairo on Monday. Meanwhile, newly elected Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said he would not interfere with judicial sentences.
