Two men have been jailed for life for murdering a mother and her children in Leicester, who died when their home was mistakenly set alight in a botched revenge attack.

Father pays emotional tribute to his murdered family

The husband of Shehnila Taufiq and father of her three teenage children, who were all murdered in a house fire in Leicester, paid tributes to his family, saying they were "four amazing human beings."

"They were really extraordinary people," Dr Muhammad Taufiq Al Sattar said.

Shehnila Taufiq, 47, her 19-year-old daughter Zainab, and sons Bilal, 17, and Jamal, 15, all died when a fire engulfed their house in Leicester in the early hours of September 13 last year. Two men have been found guilty of murdering them in a botched revenge attack.

Six other defendants were found guilty of manslaughter, but cleared of four counts of murder.
