EU leaders put aside their differences to mark WWI

Marking the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War, 28 European leaders gathered to remember those killed at the battles of Ypres, today.

The leaders put aside their differences in Europe to mark the occasion with a walk and placed poppies at a newly commissioned memorial.

Tomorrow the leaders will all vote in Brussels on who will lead the European Union.
