Police have arrested a 60-year-old man in connection with yesterday’s incident in Widegates, Looe. Police launched a manhunt for Derrel Weaver yesterday, who was wanted in connection with a domestic incident at a farm in Widegates on Thursday night.
The man was located on land in Widegates by police officers shortly before 9.30pm on June 27. Two firearms were seized nearby, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
He was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and will be taken into custody at Launceston police station.
