Metallica to perform at Glastonbury despite ban calls

Metallica is among several big names to headline at Glastonbury Festival today. The veteran rockers are due to perform on the Pyramid stage at 9.45pm, despite calls to ban the group after it emerged front man James Hetfield will narrate a TV series about hunting bears.

Artists Jake Bugg and influential crooner Bryan Ferry will be headlining on the Other and West Holts stage this evening.
