Rolf Harris removed from Australia's ARIA Hall of Fame

Rolf Harris' membership of Australia's ARIA Hall of Fame has been revoked following his conviction on 12 counts of indecent assault.

The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) inducted Harris in 2008 "for his contribution to the Australian recorded music industry".

"Following his conviction in UK courts, the ARIA Board has made the decision to withdraw the ARIA Hall of Fame award bestowed upon Rolf Harris," the body said.
