May to order independent sex abuse claims investigation

Dickens believed file 'would blow lid off society'

The Conservative MP who compiled a 50-page dossier alleging paedophile activity among MPs at Westminster in 1983 believed that the contents of the file "would blow the lid off society," his son told ITV News today.

Geoffrey Dickens' son Barry said it was "confusing" that "nothing was done" about the facts put forward by his late father.
